Returns and Refunds
How can I return a product?
The right of withdrawal is governed pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 206/2005. If the customer is a consumer (that is, a natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, or who does not make the purchase by indicating a VAT number in the order form), they have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason. To exercise this right, the customer must send a notice to FARMACIASOCCAVO.IT within 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods.
Procedure for making a return
To make a return of a product, the following procedure must be followed:
To return a product, you must send an email to info@farmaciasoccavo.it, stating the order number and the product or products you wish to return. Once this communication has been sent, the relevant department will review the request and notify you of its acceptance.
After receiving authorization, the customer undertakes to ship the products to be returned within a maximum of 14 days, following the instructions provided by Customer Service. The items must be returned intact and complete with all their parts; otherwise, the right of withdrawal will lapse. The products must be placed in a well-sealed package with the relevant order number clearly indicated.
Once the return has been received at our warehouse, it will be processed within a maximum of 7 business days. After your return has been processed, you will receive an email confirming acceptance and approval of the refund.
Refund method
You can receive your refund either through a reimbursement to the payment method used at the time of the order or as a store credit to be used without expiration on farmaciasoccavo.it, according to the option you choose when initiating the return.
Return cost
If the Farmacia Soccavo product you purchased does not meet your expectations, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without any penalty within 14 days from the delivery date of the order, free of charge.
Legal conditions of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions (Article 67 of the Consumer Code):
-
Once the goods have been delivered, the consumer is required to return them or make them available to the professional or their designated person, according to the methods and timeframes provided in the contract.
-
The period for returning the goods cannot be less than ten working days from the date of receipt of the goods. For the purpose of calculating this period, the goods are considered returned at the moment they are handed over to the accepting post office or courier.
-
For contracts involving the sale of goods, the substantial integrity of the goods to be returned is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal. It is sufficient that the goods are returned in a normal state of preservation, having been handled with ordinary care and, if applicable, used appropriately.
-
The only costs borne by the consumer for exercising the right of withdrawal under this article are the direct costs of returning the goods to the sender, where expressly provided for in the contract.
-
If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal in accordance with the provisions of this section, the professional is required to refund the amounts paid by the consumer, including any deposit paid. The refund must be made free of charge, as quickly as possible, and in any case within 14 calendar days from the date the professional became aware of the consumer’s exercise of the right of withdrawal. The amounts are considered refunded on time if they are effectively returned, sent, or credited with a value date no later than the deadline indicated above.
-
If the payment was made by means of bills of exchange and these have not yet been presented for collection, they must be returned. Any clause limiting the consumer’s right to reimbursement of amounts paid upon exercising the right of withdrawal is null and void.
-
If the price of a good or service is wholly or partially covered by credit granted to the consumer by the professional or a third party under an agreement between them and the professional, the credit contract is automatically terminated without any penalty if the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal in accordance with this article. The professional must notify the third-party credit provider of the consumer’s exercise of the right of withdrawal. Any amounts already paid by the third-party credit provider for the good or service up to the moment they become aware of the consumer’s withdrawal must be reimbursed to the third party by the professional without penalty, except for the payment of accrued legal interest.
When the right of withdrawal expires (Article 55 of the Consumer Code)
The right of withdrawal provided for in Articles 64 and following, as well as Articles 52 and 53 and paragraph 1 of Article 54, does not apply:
-
To contracts for the supply of food, beverages, or other goods for everyday domestic consumption delivered to the consumer’s home, residence, or workplace by distributors who make frequent and regular rounds.
-
To contracts for the provision of services related to accommodation, transport, catering, or leisure, when at the time of concluding the contract the professional undertakes to provide these services on a specific date or within a predetermined period.
Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal under Articles 64 and following in the following cases:
-
Provision of services whose performance has begun, with the consumer’s consent, before the expiration of the withdrawal period provided for in Article 64, paragraph 1.
-
Provision of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in financial market rates that the professional cannot control.
-
Provision of goods made to measure or clearly personalized, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are likely to deteriorate or spoil rapidly.
-
Provision of sealed audio-visual products or computer software that have been opened by the consumer.
-
Provision of newspapers, periodicals, and magazines.
-
Provision of betting and lottery services.
